“Act of Worship”

By Emy Porter

“ Let us therefore no longer pass judgement on one another,
but resolve instead never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of another.”
Romans 14:13

Let me remind you that you are an illustration of yourself,

your family, your business, your community.

You are a representative of God.

Be an example.

Be a vessel of hope and light and love and truth.

Show compassion and consideration. Always.

Set aside your opinions, requirements, affiliations…

all the things that may cause someone to stumble, question, resist…

put them aside and usher in the truth that God freely gives.

Kindness is Christ’s essence for salvation through Him.

Because every moment of every day is an act of worship.

A breath. A simple nod. A smile.
A song on your lips that stays all day. A hug.
All of these are Acts of Worship.

So is a gift to a friend. A meal to your neighbor.
A note to your spouse.
These are Acts of Worship.

Feeding, teaching, loving your children.
Caring for animals.
Reading a book.
Being available for a child or an aging parent.
A text, a phone call, a video message.
This is Worship.

Raising your hands in praise!
Bowing your head in humility and devotion.
 Getting on your knees.
Acts. Of. Worship.

“…tell the people the whole message about this life.” Acts 5:20

“I am grateful to God…when I remember you constantly in my prayers day and night. Recalling your tears, I long to see you so that I may be filled with joy.” 2 Timothy 1:3-4

“Now when these things begin to take place, stand up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Luke 21:28

“You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 2:1

Live in WISDOM, not fear.

Respect everyone’s chosen boundaries. Adjust accordingly.
